ACTION REQUIRED
1. Download Product Status Report (PSRPT)including all histograms with ET and attach it too the Service Information Management System (SIMSi) entry.
2. Install the latest transmission/chassis, monitor, and implement system software for the 14M3, 16M3, and 18M3 Motor Graders. Note: Refer to Testing and Adjusting UENR5919 to Flash the Graphical display Via Ethernet Connection.
3. Perform a Transmission Fill Calibration after software update.
Note: Transmission fill calibration is not required with the new
transmission/chassis software but recommended to verify the transmission
clutch fills are within the allowable ranges.
4. If any errors or warnings appear during Transmission Fill Calibration or a After Failure repair is required, notify your Technical Communicator(TC) to submit a DSN ticket or submit the information through CPI Feedback within SIMSi. Refer too M0067666 (14M3) or UENR6763(16/18M3)for Disassembly and Assembly instructions.

Note: For this software Remote Flash for Equipment is available to select dealers. Reference Special Instruction M0064706 for additional details.
Note: Always use the latest software available. Sometimes the flash file part numbers are updated before the program terminates.

This is a 1.5-hour job
Note: Flashing in the new software is a 1.5 hour job.
If a transmission fill calibration is performed, an additional 1.0 hours will be allowed.
In the event of an after failure repair, an additional 116.5 hours will be allowed to remove and install, disassemble and reassemble, inspect and clean the transmission, for a total of 118 hrs.
PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO COMPLETE THIS PROGRAM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
If you are no longer the owner of this product(s), please contact your local Cat dealer so that our records can be updated. Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 08Feb2018 when scheduling this service.
