Previous information is correct at present. A new interference fit on the differential carrier and additonal torque information will be included in a later article.
--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------Description of Change: A higher tightening torque is now used for bolts at the transmission to differential and differential to rear axle housing. The higher torque provides increased clamping force. Adaptable To: This change is effective with 793 (3SJ36) Trucks and is adaptable to earlier trucks. Tighten the 6V3532 Bolts to 530 70 N m (390 50 lb ft).
