Position Tooling (H) onto a suitable vise. Install differential pinion gear (48) onto Tooling (H). Bend the locking tabs on the washer (49). Remove nut (50) and the washer (49). Remove bearing cone (51) and differential pinion gear (48) .

Remove spacer (54). Remove bearing cone (55) from retainer (53) .

Use two people in order to position housing assembly (60), as shown. The weight of housing assembly (60) is approximately 31 kg (70 lb). Use Tooling (G) in order to remove bearing cone (59) .
