A     1P-1853     Retaining Ring Pliers     1    Note: Verify that all of the components of the brake control valve are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.Note: Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary. Lubricate the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Install O-ring seal (18) (not shown).
Install lip seal (17) .
Use Tool (A) in order to install retaining ring (16) .

Install two seals (15) and the two O-ring seals into the brake control valve (2) .

Install O-ring plug (14) and the O-ring seal into brake valve cover (10) .
Install O-ring plug (13) and the O-ring seal into the spool.
Install two bolts (12) and the hard washers in order to connect brake valve cover (10) and brake valve cover (11) to brake control valve (2) .
Install adjustment eye (8) and jam nut (9) .

Install two bolts (7) and the washers in order to connect brake control valve (2) to bracket assembly (6) .
Install cotter (5) and the pin in order to connect brake control valve (2) to the lever assembly.

Connect hose assembly (3) and tube assembly (4) to the brake control valve.
Install pressure switch (1) onto brake control valve (2). Tighten the pressure switch to a torque of 45 5 N m (33 4 lb ft).End By: Install the brake control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Brake Control Valve (Parking) - Install".
