(4) Pressure-reducing valve Parking brake solenoid (2) and shift solenoid (3) are located on the auxiliary manifold. This manifold is located on the left side of the machine, under the left operator platform. The door on the left side of the machine provides access to this component.Parking brake solenoid (2) must be energized in order to release the parking brakes. When shift solenoid (3) is energized, the machine operates in the travel-speed range. The auxiliary pump provides the hydraulic flow to the auxiliary manifold. Pressure-reducing valve (4) reduces the pressure available to parking brake solenoid (2) and shift solenoid (3) to 5000 350 kPa (720 50 psi). The pressure can be measured at pressure tap (1) in port "G1" of the auxiliary manifold.

(8) Hand pump Brake release manifold (5) is located on the left side of the machine under the left operator platform. The door on the left side of the machine provides access to this component.Brake release manifold (5) contains hand pump (8), needle valve (7), brake pressure switch (6) and a pressure tap. When the needle valve is closed, the hand pump can be used to release the parking brakes manually. The handle for the hand pump is stored in the tool box.Brake pressure switch (6) provides an input signal to the machine electronic control system. Actuation pressure of the switch is 2550 kPa (370 psi). Deactuation pressure of the switch is 1800 175 kPa (261 25.4 psi). The brake release pressure can be measured at the pressure tap that is located on the rear face of the manifold. If the brake pressure is low when the machine is commanded to move, the monitoring system logs a level-three fault. Low brake pressure causes increased brake wear.

(12) Track tension manifold
(13) Track tension pressure switch Right track tension manifold (12) is located on the right side of the machine. The door on the right side of the machine provides access to this component. The left track tension manifold is mounted in the same relative position, on the left side of the machine. Tap (11), needle valve (10) and quick coupler (9) are used to control the hydraulic pressure in the track tension system. Track tension pressure switch (13) is installed in each track tension manifold. Actuation pressure of the track tension pressure switches is 10700 kPa (1552 psi). Deactuation pressure of the switches is 8950 537 kPa (1298 78 psi). The machine electronic control system uses input signals from the track tension pressure switches to alert the operator if the track tension is too low. Low track tension pressure generates a level-three fault.
