Since the introduction of new engine software, there have been an increasing number of occurrences of the following event code:

Low Intake Manifold Pressure Solution
Do not operate or work on this product unless you have read and understood the instruction and warnings in the relevant Operation and Maintenance Manuals and relevant service literature. Failure to follow the instructions or heed the warnings could result in injury or death. Proper care is your responsibility.
Use the electronic service tool to download a Product Status Report (PSR) before performing any troubleshooting.
Perform the troubleshooting for the active event code. Refer to Troubleshooting, Intake Manifold Air Pressure Is Low.
If the troubleshooting does not indicate a hardware issue, the active event code is due to a software issue.
The event code and the subsequent engine derate latch for a key cycle. Instruct the operator of the machine to perform the following steps when the event occurs:
Turn the keyswitch to the OFF position for 30 seconds to clear the event.
Turn the keyswitch to the ON position and wait for 10 seconds before cranking the engine.
Return the machine to service.Note: Other operating modes, such as "ECO Mode" may reduce the frequency of the event occurrence. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the available operating modes for the machine.
In every instance, submit the following information through "CPI Feedback" within the Service Information Management System (SIMSi):

Detailed description of the operating conditions when the issue occurred (altitude of job site, ambient temperature, and details of any components replaced).
PSR from before and after performing troubleshooting. Ensure that PDF and XML versions of the PSR are downloaded, with the "Histogram" option selected in the download list.
Regeneration history report from the engine ECM.
