Sectional View of Pilot ManifoldThere are two valves in the pilot hydraulic system. The high pressure pilot relief valve and the pressure reducing valve control the pilot system pressure.Pilot oil enters the high pressure pilot relief valve and the track tension circuit. The high pressure pilot relief valve has a pressure setting of 7000 kPa (1015 psi). The high pressure pilot relief valve supplies the high pressure oil to the pressure reducing valve. The pressure reducing valve maintains the low pressure circuit to 4500 kPa (650 psi). Therefore, the pilot oil in the track tension circuit and in the high pressure circuit is maintained at 7000 kPa (1015 psi). The check valve limits the flow of oil to one direction. Pilot oil flows through the passage to the pilot accumulator and from the pilot manifold to the pressure reducing valve for the low pressure circuit. The pilot oil flows from the pressure reducing valve to the hydraulic activation control selector valve.
