The piston motor (auger) (1) is bolted to the auger drive (2). The auger drive (2) is bolted to the upper structure (3) .The auger drive lug (4) provides motion to the auger (5).

The double stage reduction consists of the first stage reduction and the second stage reduction.The first stage reduction and the second stage reduction consist of the following components.

Ring gear (10) The output shaft of the piston motor (auger) (1) is splined to the first stage sun gear (9) .The output shaft of the piston motor (auger) (1) rotates the sun gear (9) clockwise. Planetary gears (8) rotate counterclockwise on the shafts (6). The ring gear (10) is held stationary. This rotates the carrier (7) clockwise. The splines on the inner circumference of the first stage carrier (7) engage with the splines on the second stage sun gear (9) .Second stage planetary gears (8) rotate counterclockwise on the shafts (6). This rotates the second stage carrier (7) clockwise.The second stage carrier (7) is splined to the auger drive lug (4). The auger drive lug (4) rotates the auger (5) at 51 RPM.
