Remove the center drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive Shaft (Center) - Remove and Install".
Articulate the machine fully to the right. Install the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
Release the parking brake.

Remove bolts (1) and bolts (2) from the storage locations. Install bolts (1) and bolts (2) into the piston for the parking brake. Tighten bolts (1) and bolts (2). Set the parking brake.

Remove bolt (3) and washer (4). Disconnect grease hose assembly (5). Disconnect hose assemblies (6) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (7) .

Attach Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and Tooling (C) to parking brake assembly (8). The weight of parking brake assembly (8) is approximately 318 kg (700 lb).

Use Tooling (B) to support the front drive shaft. The weight of the front drive shaft is approximately 77 kg (170 lb). Remove bolts (9) and bolts (10) .

Disconnect grease hose assembly (10) and remove elbow (11) .

Install Tooling (D) around the steering cylinder in order to protect the steering cylinder from damage. Remove parking brake assembly (8) from the front drive shaft. Reposition parking brake assembly (8) and attach an additional lifting device, if necessary. The weight of parking brake assembly (8) is approximately 318 kg (700 lb). Ensure that hub (12) does not fall from the parking brake assembly.

Remove O-ring seal (13) .
