Removal Procedure
Start By:
Install the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
In order to prevent possible personal injury, release the air pressure from the air tank before disconnecting any components of the air system.
Purge the pressure from the air system. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Tank (Brakes) - Purge" for the correct procedure.

Remove relief valve (1) from air tank (2) .Installation Procedure
Verify that all of the components are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation. Inspect all components for wear. Replace the components, if necessary.

Note: Apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to the relief valve before installation.
Install relief valve (1) to air tank (2) .
Charge the air pressure in the air tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Starting with an External Air Supply" for the correct procedure.End By: Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
