Installation Procedure
Place the harvester head in the HORIZONTAL position. Prepare for disassembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Preparation for Disassembly" for detailed instructions.
Place the harvester head on the ground. Support the yoke for the harvester head in order to prevent the harvester head from tipping when the damper is installed.

Lift the damper with a sling and a hoist. The damper weighs 27.2 kg (60 lb) on a HH55 and HH65 Harvester Head.
Place the damper in position on rotator (7) .
Install pivot pin (6) .
Install the nut and install the washer for the pivot pin. Tighten the nut for the pivot pin.
Align the hole for upper brake disc (1) with the hole for the damper. Evenly tighten the screws for upper brake pack (2) .
Use the jack to lower the stick onto the damper.
Align the slot in upper brake disk (1) with the lock for the disc. The screws for the brake may need to be loosened.
Install upper pivot pin .
Install nut (3) for the upper pivot pin. Tighten the nut for the pivot pin.
Remove the supports that were used to secure the yoke.
Adjust the screws (2) and (4) for the brake packs to the desired tension.
