This Program must be administered as soon as possible.When reporting the repair, use "PI32519" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Codeand "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI32519" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number,"96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program.Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your Caterpillar product analyst.

PROBLEM
Software is used to control the air delivery and diesel emissions fluid dosing within the Retrofit Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) System. Under some operating conditions, the software can cause the controller to over dose on certain Retrofit SCR Systems. A (32 bit) counter is used for timing tasks within the software. When an SCR system is powered continuously, the counter will roll over every 40 days. This roll over function is unreliable and may occasionally result in over dosing.

ACTION REQUIRED
Replace previous 477-7395 Software or earlier with the new 483-1841 Software or latest available on SIS Web. The new software addresses the problem identified with the controller possibly over dosing.
Refer to the attached Rework Procedure.
