Install valve spool (23) in body assembly (21) .

Install the O-ring seal on detent assemblies (24). Use a 3/8 inch - 16 NC bolt to install the detent assemblies on each side of the body assembly.

Put stop (26) in position in the body assembly. Install pin (25) in order to hold the body assembly in place. Install the pin until the pin is 3.0 mm 1.0 mm (0.12 inch 0.04 inch) below the surface of the body assembly.

Install valve spool (27) in body assembly (21) .

Install the O-ring seal on detent assemblies (28). Use a 3/8 inch - 16 NC bolt to install the detent assemblies on each side of the body assembly.

Put stop (29) in the body assembly. Install pin (30). Install the pin until the pin is 3.0 mm 1.0 mm (0.12 inch 0.04 inch) below the surface of the body assembly.

Put plate (33), body assembly (21), and plate (32) in position on manifold (35) .
Put support (34) in position on the plate. Install 22 bolts (31). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 N m 4 N m (22 lb ft 3 lb ft).

Put shaft (37) in position in bracket assembly (38). Align the hole in the shaft with the hole in the bracket assembly. Install pin (36) .

If bearings (40) and (41) were removed, use Tool (B) to install the bearings in lever assemblies (39) .

Put lever assemblies (39) and washers (43) in position. Use Tool (C) to install snap ring (42) .

Align the lever assemblies with valve spools (23) and (27). Put bracket assembly (38) in position. Install four bolts (44). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 N m 4 N m (22 lb ft 3 lb ft).

Install the O-ring seals on sleeves (46). Put the sleeves and washer (45) in position in the body assembly. Install the bolt that holds the parts in place.

Install elbow (49) in the body assembly.
Install the O-ring seals on sleeve (47) and (48). Install the sleeves in the body assembly and the elbow, as shown.End By: Install the transmission hydraulic control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission Hydraulic Control Valve - Install".
