Termination Date
December 31, 1993Problem
Certain 0R2693 Cylinder Kits may have been assembled with 0R5472 Pistons that contain improperly sized piston rings.
Action Required
Inspect all 0R2693 Cylinder Kits in parts stock with a date code prior to July 1, 1992. The date code is located on the part number tag on the outside of the packing box. The date code appears as a MMDDYY code (ie. 061292 = June 12, 1992). Remove the plastic protective plug from the top of the liner and check to see if "0R5472" is stamped on top of the piston. If "0R5472 " is stamped on the top of the piston, remove it from parts stock. If "0R5472" is not stamped on top of the piston, mark a red "X" on the box and return the cylinder kit to your parts stock.
Service Claim Allowances
Submit one claim for all 0R2693 Cylinder Kits removed from parts stock.

Parts Disposition
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
