PROBLEM
The existing circuit breaker can prematurely trip on certain 525D, 535D, 545D, and 555D Wheel Skidders. If the existing circuit breaker trips, it can cause a loss of system charging and a light to illuminate on the dash.

ACTION REQUIRED
Remove the existing two 417-1002/426-4626 Alternator Cable Assemblies and the 171-2215 Circuit Breaker. Replace with a one piece cable that goes directly from the power distribution block to the back of the alternator.
Reuse the cable clamp and associated hardware to secure the new cable to the engine block.
Place two 3S-2093 Cable Straps around the terminal boots in order to secure the terminal boot to the cable.
