Removal Procedure
Remove the front and middle bottom guards. The weight of the front bottom guard is 238 kg (525 lb). The weight of the middle bottom guard is 250 kg (551 lb).

Put a 50 ton screw jack (1) in position under the equalizer bar. Lift the side of the machine in order to put the equalizer bar pads under compression.

Remove two bolts (5) from the outside of lower pad assembly (3) on the opposite side of the machine.
Slide the assemblies outward until the assemblies are against the frame.
Remove four bolts and nuts (4) that hold upper pad assembly (2) together with the lower pad assembly (3) .

Put the 50 ton screw jack (1) under the other side of the equalizer bar and lift the side of the machine.

Remove the bolts that hold lower pad assembly to the equalizer bar.
Move lower pad assembly (6) and upper pad assembly (7) outward until the pad assemblies are against the frame.
Remove the bolts that hold the pad assemblies together.
Remove lower pad assembly (6) and upper pad assembly (7) from the machine.
Use the 50 ton screw jack and lift the opposite side of the machine. Remove the pad assemblies.
