Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Apply Tooling (B) to the outside of shaft (9).
Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press. Position bearing (7) and press into retainer (8) and onto shaft (9).
Install bolts (5) and plate (6) into shaft (9). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 28 7 N m (21 5 lb ft).

Install shaft assembly (4), bolts (2), and washers (3) into fan drive bracket (1). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 28 7 N m (21 5 lb ft). End By:
Install the fan drive. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan Drive - Install".
