Machines Powered By 3406 EnginesSeveral improvements have been made to the Remanufactured 0R-3008 Fuel Transfer Pump available for use on the 3406 engines in these machines. The improvements include: * The use of pump "MASTERS" to insure correlation between the test machines at the remanufacturing plant and the original equipment manufacturer. This assures test accuracy and repeatability.* The use of an air/electronic gauge to insure proper clearance between the tappet plunger and the tappet body. This helps prevent fuel dilution of the engine crankcase oil.* The use of a spring tester to help insure quality of the transfer pump center spring and proper pump discharge pressures.
