1. Gradually speed up the engine to 1100 rpm minimum. When the voltmeter indicator is in the second green band, return the governor control lever to LOW IDLE. If equipped with an electronic display, return to LOW IDLE when the ELECTRICAL SYSTEM LED goes off.2. Allow the engine to warm up at LOW IDLE for five minutes. Engage and disengage all implement controls to help speed warm-up of hydraulic components. 3. If equipped with an electronic display, hold down the lamp test pad. All the display LEDs should flash. 4. Maintain the power train transmission system oil level between the ADD and FULL marks on the dipstick when the oil is warm. 5. Look at the gauges and indicators frequently during operation.6. The brake indicator lights will remain on until the parking brake is released or if the accumulator pressure is incorrect.The accumulator takes approximately thirty seconds to charge. If the brake indicator light remains on much longer, stop the engine. Contact your Caterpillar dealer for brake service. Do not operate the machine until the cause has been corrected.
