1. Remove wiper motor cover (1). 2. Disconnect electrical connector (3) for wiper motor assembly (2). 3. Raise cap (4) from wiper arm assembly (5). 4. Remove nut and washer (6) from wiper arm assembly (5).5. Remove wiper arm assembly (5) from wiper motor assembly shaft. 6. Remove nut (7) from wiper motor assembly shaft. 7. Remove two nuts and washers (9) from wiper motor assembly housing (8).8. Remove wiper motor assembly housing (8) from rear window. The following steps are for installation of the windshield wiper motor. 9. Install wiper motor assembly housing (8) to rear window.10. Install two nuts and washers (9) to wiper motor assembly housing (8).Tighten two nuts to a torque of 7.5 0.5 N m (66.37 4.42 lb in). 11. Install nut (7) to wiper motor assembly shaft.Tighten nut to a torque of 9 1 N m (80 9 lb in). 12. Install wiper arm assembly (5) to wiper motor assembly shaft.13. Install nut and washer (6) to wiper arm assembly (5).Tighten nut to a torque of 17 1 N m (150 9 lb in). 14. Install cap (4) to wiper arm assembly (5). 15. Install wiper motor cover (1). 16. Connect electrical connector (3) for wiper motor assembly (2).
