Servicing/Assembly Instructions
Proper installation of sprocket segments is critical in preventing segment loosening and subsequent loss/damage to other parts. Install segments using the following guidelines:
Lubricate the bolt threads with 5P-3931 Anti-Seizure Compound.
Mating surfaces must be free of paint.
Tighten all bolts to the following: 175 Nm +/- 40 Nm (130 lb ft +/- 30 lb ft)
Then tighten an additional 1/3 turn. This stretches the bolt properly for good retention.
