Antenna for Product Link in transport position (1) Nut (2) AntennaThe antenna for the Product Link system is mounted on a bracket that places the antenna (2) in a horizontal position for transportation purposes. Refer to Illustration 1.This position is chosen in order to protect the antenna from damage during transportation. This horizontal position is not an operational position. The antenna must be placed in the vertical position in order to operate correctly. If the antenna is delivered in a horizontal position, reseat the antenna in the vertical position by performing the following steps:
Unscrew the nut (1) for the antenna (2) .
Remove the antenna (2) from the horizontal position. Use care when you handle the harness. Ensure that the harness and the antenna (2) are not damaged. Avoid any sharp bends of the harness.

Place the antenna (2) in the vertical position by mounting the antenna (2) on top of the bracket.Refer to Illustration 2.
Tighten the nut (1) in order to secure the antenna (2) .
