COMPONENT CODE(S) 7490SUBJECT: THE MONITORING SYSTEM MAY LOSE THE IDENTITY OF THE SELECTED TOOL NAME IN DISPLAY
PROBLEM:
Machines that are equipped with the auxiliary hydraulic circuit may experience the loss of the selected tool name from the monitor display. This may be caused by a wrong initialization of the communication between the Engine/Pump controller and the monitor at start-up.
The loss of the selected tool name on the display makes the process of proceeding to a tool selection impossible.
The normal monitor process may be eventually recovered by stopping and starting the engine as many times as needed to attain the correct initialization of the communication between the Engine/Pump controller and the monitor.
SOLUTION:
The monitor must be flashed with the latest software version.
