PARTS DISPOSITION
Rework Procedure
Note: This procedure must be performed on a clean, dry surface.

1. Clean the area where the sealant will be applied. Refer to Image1.1.1, marked as area A. The sealant will be applied over the existing layer of sealant. Sand the surface lightly, 2 to 3 times with an 80 grit sanding disk. This is to ensure the sealant bonds with the surface. Clean the surface again using a clean lint free cloth. Apply tape to the entire length of the drain groove at the bottom of the groove, to prevent over-spray for other areas. Refer to Image1.1.1.

2. Apply the 175-2934 Activator over the top of the existing sealant. Then apply 121-3910 Adhesive with pneumatic gun. Use finger to smooth the sealer surface, no gap or hole is permitted. Be sure to use appropriate personal protective equipment. Refer to Image1.2.1.
3. Wait until the sealer is tack free. Paint the sealant to match the rest of the cab, and remove the tape.
4. Repeat this process for the opposite side of the machine.
