Installation of the VIMSpc application
Update of the VIMSpc applicationNote: An update to the master database is required when installing VIMSpc software 2009B on computers with a master database version greater than 9.0.8. The user will need to run the appropriate update for the master database after the installation of VIMSpc software 2009B. Perform the following procedure in order to download a file from Microsoft Windows for compatibility with the Vista operating system:
Download the following file from Microsoft Windows.
Go to "www.microsoft.com/download".
Search for the file "WinHlp32.exe for Windows Vista".
Go to the article "WinHlp32.exe for Windows Vista".
Follow the directions that are provided in order to enable support for the Vista operating system. Note: For MS Vista 64-bit, the user will need to change the default paths in VIMSpc. The default path will need to be changed from "Program Files (x86)"to "Program Files".For VIMS / DSN Support contact your local technical communicator.
