1. Adjust length of rod (4) and rod end (2) to distance (A). Distance (A), from center-to-center of pins (1) and (12), is 4.25 in. (108.0 mm). Tighten nut (3).2. Adjust length of rod (9) and rod end (7) to distance (B). Distance (B), from center of pin (6) to center of pin (15), is 5.40 in. (137.2 mm). Tighten nut (8). 3. Connect the cable assemblies to levers (13) and (14).4. Adjust screws (5) and (10), on levers (11) and (16), to get about .02 in. (0.5 mm) clearance between levers (13) and (14) and screws (5) and (10). 5. Adjust angle assembly (19) against lever (17) to hold pedal (21) above stop (23) at dimension (C) of 3.25 in. (82.6 mm). Do this for both pedals. If additional adjustment is needed, remove lever (17) from shaft (18). Install lever (17) in a different location (rotate it) on the splines of the shaft. Then, use the angle assembly for a final adjustment of the pedal.6. Loosen nut (22) and adjust end (20) of the cable assembly until the hole in end (20) is in alignment with the hole in lever (17).7. Connect cable assembly to lever.8. Do steps 6 and 7 again for the other pedal.9. Make a final adjustment to clearance, between levers (13) and (14) and screws (5) and (10), to get a clearance of .02 .01 in. (0.5 0.2 mm). Any addition to the adjustment of the cable assemblies can be made on the ends of the cable assemblies at levers (13) and (14).
