This Program must be administered assoon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI10229" as the Partnumber and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim DescriptionCode and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair isdone after failure, use "PI10229" as the Part Number, "7751" as the GroupNumber, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMSDescription Code.PROBLEM
The operator seat mounting bolts need to be replacedon certain D5N and D6N Track Type Tractors. The four bolts that securethe seat to the platform may be too short. The seat could shift unexpectedlycausing operator imbalance that could lead to potential for severe injuryor death. These bolts will need to be replaced with longer bolts.AFFECTED PRODUCT

Check the threads on the corresponding nuts andreplace the nuts if the threading has been stripped. Replace all four boltsthat secure the seat to the platform, making sure to use thread-lock onall of the new bolts. Before installation of the bolts, remove the floorplate in front of the seat. Visually check beneath the seat plate to ensureno interference will exist between the new, longer bolts and any wiringharnesses that may be routed beneath the seat. If interference is found,reroute the applicable harness in a slightly different manner to avoidany such interference.OWNER NOTIFICATION
