The 248-2325 Roller Bearing As in the second reduction planetary gear may fail at low hours due to soft rollers or long rollers. Some parts that have the CN date code and the JN date code have failed prematurely.Solution

Reject all 248-2325 Roller Bearing As in the dealer inventory back to the parts distribution system. Order the new 248-2325 Roller Bearing As that are certified parts. Certified parts are stamped with a V (1) on the bearing race next to the date code. A label that is printed "CERTIFIED STOCK" (2) has been placed on the interior shipping package.The 250-6861 Rebuild Kit and the 250-6862 Rebuild Kit contain the 248-2325 Roller Bearing As . Remove the 248-2325 Roller Bearing As from the kits. Reject the 248-2325 Roller Bearing As from the kits back to the parts distribution system. Order the new 248-2325 Roller Bearing As that are certified parts. Place the new 248-2325 Roller Bearing As that are certified parts in the kits.
