Removal Procedure
Start By:
Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the proper procedure.Note: Do not attempt to service the muffler until the engine is cool to the touch.

Loosen nut (1) and the clamp. Remove exhaust extension (2) .
Open the right door and the left door.

Remove two nuts and bolts (3) .

Remove six nuts (4) and the gasket. Remove muffler (5) .Installation Procedure

Place muffler (5) into position.
Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the studs on the turbocharger.
Install the gasket and six nuts (4). Tighten the nuts to a torque of 22 2 N m (16 2 lb ft).

Install two nuts and bolts (3) .
Close the right door and the left door.

Place exhaust extension (2) in position. Tighten nut (1) and the clamp to a torque of 47 9 N m (35 7 lb ft).End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the proper procedure.
