Location of the stroke limiters (1) Steering control valve (2) Adjusting screw for a right turn (3) Adjusting screw for a left turn (4) Locknut (5) Locknut
Loosen locknut (4) and turn adjusting screw (2) to adjust the steering time for a right turn.
Turn the adjusting screw clockwise to increase the steering time. Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise to decrease the steering time.
Tighten locknut (4) to a torque of 10 N m (7.5 lb ft).
Loosen locknut (5) and turn adjusting screw (3) to adjust the steering time for a left turn.
Turn the adjusting screw clockwise to increase the steering time. Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise to decrease the steering time.
Tighten locknut (5) to a torque of 10 N m (7.5 lb ft).
Check the steering time.Reference: For the correct procedure to check the steering time, refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Steering Time - Check" for the machine that is being serviced.
