(4) Water spray timer increase switch
(5) Water spray timer decrease switch Keypad (2) is located on the right side of the front console. The keypad contains the following water system switches:
Water spray timer increase switch (4)
Water spray timer decrease switch (5)The above switches provide input signals to the machine ECM through the CAN. The machine ECM uses the input from these switches in order to set the desired water spray interval. The water spray interval determines the on and off times for the water spray system. Water spray timer switches (4) (5) scale the spray interval. The scale range for the water spray interval is between 0 percent and 100 percent. The operator actuates the water spray timer switches to change the water spray interval in 5-percent increments. If either water spray timer switch is held longer than 1 second, the value is modified by 5 percent per 250 milliseconds. The water spray interval is on a 40-second cycle. When the spray interval is set to 20 percent, the water system is cycled on for 8 seconds and off for 32 seconds. If the water spray timer increase switch (4) is actuated, the time on increases, and the time off decreases. If the water spray timer decrease switch (5) is actuated, the time on decreases, and the time off increases. When the water spray timer is set to 0 percent, the water spray system does not operate. At 100 percent, the water spray system is continuously on.The indicators next to the water spray timer switches indicate the currently selected water spray interval. When none of the indicators are illuminated, the spray interval is 0 percent. The first indicator illuminates when the water spray interval is 5 percent. Each successive indicator represents a change in the water spray interval of approximately 16 percent. When all the indicators are illuminated, the spray interval is 100 percent. Each time a water spray timer switch is actuated, a pop-up message appears on display (1). This message specifies the currently selected spray interval. The message is maintained on the display for 3 seconds. Five seconds after the last timer switch is actuated, the currently selected spray interval is saved into memory. This memory is retained after a key cycle. If the operator simultaneously holds the water timer switches, the water spray system operates in the override mode. In this mode, the water system continuously operates until the switches are released.Operator display (1) alerts the operator of a low water level condition. Low water indication illuminates when the water level is below system presets.A run-time monitor tracks water usage. The run-time hours can be viewed and cleared with the service tool.
