Configuration for "TMAC Settings"
Trimble Mincom Aquila Caterpillar (TMAC) is a proprietary protocol for communications. TMAC is used by the HIM in order to communicate with the TMAC. The TMAC settings are available from the network administrator of the mine.Perform the following procedure in order to configure the TMAC settings:
Select "TMAC Settings" from the "Configuration Menu".

Enter the HIM port for receiving TMAC messages in the "Local VIMSWireless Port:" text field. Refer to Illustration 7.Note: This port should correspond to the setting for the VIMSWireless port on a TMAC server.
Enter the IP address for the TMAC server in the "Office IP Address:" text field.
Enter the port for the TMAC server in the "Office Port:" text field.
Select "Apply".The message "Configuration Saved and Activated." will be displayed.Note: Rebooting the HIM is not necessary for any changes in the TMAC settings.Configuration for "FTP Settings"
"FTP Settings" allows the user to configure the method that is used for transferring the data files from VIMS to the mine office. The data files can be pushed by the HIM or the data files can be pulled by MineStar. Pushing data files is also referred to as the HIM hotspot feature. This feature enables machines that are out of radio coverage to transmit data files to the office on re-entering an area that is covered by the radio network (hotspot). The FTP settings are available from the network administrator of the mine.Note: "FTP Settings" refers to the settings for File Transfer Protocol (FTP).Perform the following procedure in order to configure the FTP settings:
Select "FTP Settings" from the "Configuration Menu".

Select a mode of transfer for the data files from one of the following modes:"Pull" mode - The office software schedules the download of files. Continue to Step 3."Push" mode - The files are sent to the FTP server for the office automatically by the HIM. Continue to Step 4.
If "Pull" mode is selected, perform the following procedure:
In the "FTP Command Port:" text field, enter the FTP
