The solenoid valve is located to the right of the transmission and below the ejector control valve.The main components of the solenoid valve are control valve (1), relief valve (2), and plate (7) .The solenoid valve is electrically operated. The solenoid valve can be de-energized or energized. This depends on the input to the ECM from the control panel in the cab and on the position of the ejector blade. Relief valve (2) is subject to pump pressure at all times. If the pressure rises above the relief valve setting, the pump oil is directed from port (4) to port (5). Port (5) is connected to the tank.Pump oil flows to port (4). This oil flows through passage (20) to pump passage (10). Oil flows through passage (13) and passage (14) to port (6). This pump oil flows to the tank from port (6). A flow path is also created between port (3) and port (5). Port (3) is connected to the rod side of the ejector cylinder. Port (5) is connected to the tank.De-energizedWhen the ejector cylinder is stationary, no oil flows between port (3) and port (5) .when the ejector cylinder is extending, oil from the rod side of the ejector cylinder flows to port (3). This return oil flows through passage (15) and through passage (12) to tank passage (9). Oil flows from tank passage (9) to port (5) then to the tank from port (5) .EnergizedSpool (11) is moved to the right. Pump oil flows through port (4) and through passage (20) to pump passage (9). This oil flows past spool (11) into passage (12) and through passage (15) to port (3). The oil flows from port (3) to the rod side of the ejector cylinder.A flow path is opened up from port (5) to port (6). Ports (5) and (6) are connected to the tank.
