This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3875" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3875" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

Internal components of the hydraulic fan motors may have been damaged during assembly on certain 980G Wheel Loaders. The hydraulic fan motor needs to be replaced with a new motor group.

Rework Procedure
1. Remove the 1198975 Grill Assembly from rear of the 1108131 Hood Group.2. Disconnect the 1177506 Oil Supply Lines, 1177507 Return Lines and the 1252050 Drain Lines from the rear of the 1292413 Hydraulic Fan Motor Group - Piston. Refer to 1108121 Lines Group - Oil Cooler.3. Tilt the Hood Group fully. Stand up in the hole left by removal of the Grill Assembly.4. Unbolt and remove the upper 1168690 Guard Assembly-Fan. Remove the bolts from lower fan guard assembly and drop it down out of the way. Note the location of oil line clips for later reassembly.
5. Remove the 1154448 H-shaped Support Assembly with the 1177827 Motor Group and Spider Assembly - Fan as a unit.Use a strap-type hoist wrapped around the fan motor group to remove.6. Remove the 8T4132 Nut and 7X515 Washer.A "bonding" compound was applied at the factory. The nut will not turn freely (except on 2KR352 and 357).Discard the nut and the washer.7. Remove the fan spider assembly and the 1204138 Adapter from the tapered fan motor group shaft using a screw-type gear puller. The pull holes on the 1204138 Adapter are M12, 80mm apart.A bonding Compound was applied to the shaft taper and adapter bore at the factory (except 2K352 and 357). Light heating of the motor group shaft is required for disassembly. Apply light heat while at the same time applying tension with the screw-type puller.8. Remove the fan motor group from the 1154448 Support Assembly.Scrap the
