Information:

1. Drain the oil from the transmission and bevel gear housing below the bevel of the clutch. 2. Remove the six bolts, cover (1) and the gasket from the rear of the clutch.3. Move hose (2) away from the clutch. 4. Install tooling (A) on the rear of the clutch as shown. Fasten a hoist to tooling (A).5. Install tooling (B) in tooling (A) to support the weight of the clutch when it is removed.6. Remove the bolts that hold clutch (3) to the transmission.7. Install two 3/8 "-16 NC forcing screws in the clutch. Tighten the forcing screws evenly, and remove the clutch from the transmission. The weight of the clutch is 48 kg (105 lb). 8. Remove four O-ring seals (5) and orifice (4) from the transmission.9. Remove the O-ring seal from the clutch. The following steps are for installation of the clutch.10. Install orifice (4) and four O-ring seals (5) in the transmission.11. Install the O-ring seal on clutch (3). Put glycerine on the O-ring seals.12. Install tooling (A) on the rear of clutch (3). Fasten a hoist to tooling (A). Install tool (B) in tooling (A) to support the weight of the clutch.13. Put the clutch in position in the rear of the transmission, and install the bolts that hold it in place.14. Put the gasket, cover (1) and hose (2) in position on the clutch, and install the bolts that hold them in place.15. Fill the transmission and bevel gears with oil to the correct level. Start By:a. remove clutch 1. Use tool (A), and remove snap ring (3).2. Remove clutch assembly (2) from manifold assembly (1). 3. Use tool (B), and remove snap ring (4) from manifold assembly (1).4. Remove bearing (5) from the manifold assembly. 5. Remove O-ring seal (8) from manifold assembly (1).6. Remove two rings (6) from carrier (7).
Carrier (7) must be destroyed if it is to be removed from the manifold assembly.
7. If necessary, use a hammer, and break carrier (7), and remove it from the manifold assembly.8. Remove the pin from the manifold assembly. 9. Remove eight bolts (9). Remove plate (10) from housing assembly (11). 10. Use tool (C), and remove snap ring (13) from hub (12). Remove hub (12) from the bearing. 11. Remove O-ring seal (14) and ring (15) from hub (12). 12. Use tool (B), and remove snap ring (16) from plate (10). Remove bearing (17) from the plate. 13. Remove four springs (18) and four dowels (19). 14. Remove four tubes (22) and dowels (25). Remove springs (23) from between the plates.15. Remove three discs (21) and two plates (24). 16. Remove piston (26) from housing assembly (11). 17. Remove seals (27) and ring (28) from housing assembly (11). 18. Remove carrier (29) from housing assembly (11). 19. Remove ring (30) from carrier (29).Assemble Clutch (Direct Drive)
1. Install ring (2) on carrier (1). 2. Align carrier (1) with the dowel in housing assembly (3), and install
