Information:

The stop positions achieved by the cab interference prevention function and the position limiting function are not constant. They may be different depending on the hydraulic oil temperature or the operation method. When the stick or the boom is moved inward too much in the left-offset status, or when the stick or the boom is left-offset in the inward status, the implement which is about to interfere with the cab or the canopy is stopped automatically or kept away by the interference prevention function. A. Deceleration/Automatic Stop Area and Automatic Keep-away Area of Boom, Stick and Offset Boom While the boom, the stick or the offset boom is manipulated, when the implement gets closer to the cab interference prevention line in the zone 1, 2 or 4 shown in the figure above, alarm sound, and the boom, the stick or the offset boom decelerates and stops.By deceleration of the boom, the stick or the offset boom, the shock caused by stop is mitigated. In the zone 3, the stick is moved outward (stick-out operation) automatically on behalf of the operator to prevent interference with the cab. If interference is about to occur without the boom raising operation, only deceleration and stop are performed. The keep-away operation is not performed.Alarm sound is issued twice in the way "peep, peep" (intermittent sound with the interval of 0.2 second). B. Operation at Automatic Stop When the cab interference prevention function is actuated and the implement is automatically stopped or kept away, the operations in the direction in which the implement gets closer to the operator's station furthermore (the stick stick-in operation and the left-offset operation) are disabled. When the bucket is kept away from the operator's station by lowering the boom, sticking out the stick or right-offsetting, normal operations are enabled. The boom may not be able to be lowered depending on the front attachment position.Front Position Control System Backup Switch
Do not set to ON the front position control system backup switch except in case of emergency. When this key is set to ON, "bUP" is displayed on the display on the monitor panel, and "peep" sound is issued continuously. In this status, the interference prevention system is disabled, and the implement cannot stop automatically.
The front position control system backup switch is provided under the seat. When the front position control system is disabled, use this switch to put down the implement safely onto the ground. Push this switch downward to enable movement of the front leakage. At this time, "bUP" is displayed on the display on the monitor panel, and "peep" sound is issued continuously. After putting down the implement safely onto the ground, stop the engine, then ask your Caterpillar dealer for inspection and repair. This switch can be used when the implement should be brought unavoidably to a position inside the interference prevention line. However, have in mind that the implement may interfere the cab while this switch is ON. 2. Position Indication Function A. Standard Position Indication This system
