To prevent personal injury, release the pressure from the hydraulic system before any lines are removed or disconnected.
1. Remove the seat and floor plates.2. Drain the oil from the hydraulic tank.3. Remove the rear bottom guard. 4. Remove hose assembly (2) from the tube assembly (1) and the hydraulic oil cooler pump.5. Remove brake control rod (3).6. Loosen the two hose clamps, and remove hose (7) from tube assembly (1).7. Disconnect tube assemblies (4), (5), (6), (8) and (9). 8. Attach a nylon strap and hoist to steering and implement pump (12). Remove six bolts (10), and remove adapter (11) and steering and implement pump (12) from the flywheel housing. The weight of the adapter and steering and implement pump unit is 80 kg (175 lb). The following steps are for installation of the steering and implement pump.9. Use a nylon strap and hoist to position adapter (11) and steering and implement pump (12) as a unit on the flywheel housing, and install six bolts (10).10. Connect hose assemblies (4), (5), (6), (8) and (9).11. Install hose (7) on tube assembly (1), and tighten the two hose clamps.12. Install brake control rod (3).13. Install hose assembly (2) on tube assembly (1) and the hydraulic oil cooler pump.
The steering and implement pump case must be full of oil before starting the engine. Pump damage will occur if the pump case is not filled with oil.
14. Use the following procedure to fill the steering and implement pump case with oil.a. Disconnect hose assembly (4) from fitting (13).b. Disconnect hose assembly (8) from elbow (14) on the steering and implement pump.c. While holding hose assembly (4) above the steering and implement pump, use a funnel to slowly pour hydraulic oil into hose assembly (4). When oil runs out of elbow (14), the steering and implement pump is full of oil.d. Connect hose assembly (8) to elbow (14).e. Connect hose assembly (4) to fitting (13).15. Install the rear bottom guard.16. Install the floor plates and the seat.17. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. See the Operation And Maintenance Manual.
