2 1 347-7407 Tube Center tube is fixed into the closed end of housing and should not be removed during element service. Apply red Loctite 271 to the threads If the tube is removed.
Torque to 20 2 N m (177 18 lb in).
3 1 353-4688 Oil Filter Gp Tighten the housing to 50 N m (37 lb ft) and 100 N m (74 lb ft) maximum.
Do not use open end or adjustable wrench to tighten the oil filter group.
A - - Minimum bottom clearance that is required to remove the oil filter group is 42 mm (1.7 inch).
- - - Bypass valve pressure setting 723.9 68.9 kPa (105.0 10.0 psi).
