Illustration 49 is the display screen that will appear when you select the "File" menu in the toolbar.Creating a file or a folder allows you to later save any of the M300 Technician screens into a document within the newly created file or within the newly created folder."File" Menu "New File Name"

Illustration 50 shows the display screen that appears when you select "New" under the "File" menu. A window appears in the "New" screen. Type the desired name for the file or the desired name for the folder in the window. As an example, you may want to use the name of the customer for the name of the file. This file folder will contain the document that allows you to retain a copy of the current screen. Then click on the "OK" button."File" Menu "Save a Copy"

In order to save a copy of any screen into a document, select the "Print" button (19) that is located at the bottom right hand side of the screen. This is shown in Illustration 51. Then, the display screen that is shown in Illustration 52 will appear."File" Menu "Print to File"

Select the "Print to File" function (20) that is shown in Illustration 52. Then select the "OK" button. The screen that is shown in Illustration 53 will appear."File" Menu "Document Name"

Print to File
A name for the document is automatically generated by the M300 Technician Software. This includes the date and the time of your operation. This is shown in Illustration 53. However, you may change the name of this document, if you type a description of the document in the second window. Select the "OK" button when you are finished. The selected screen is saved into a document. This document will be located under the previously created file (folder)."File" Menu "File Management..."

Later, select the "File Management..." menu item that is located under the "File" menu. This is shown in Illustration 54. Then, the display screen that is shown in Illustration 55 will appear."File" Menu "File Test"

After selecting "File Management...", all the files (folders) that were previously created by you appear in the first window under "Files".If you highlight any "File" such as "File Test" in the above illustration, all the documents that are saved under this file (folder) will be listed in the second window under "Documents"."File" Menu "Documents"
