1. Put the machine on level ground and lower the bowl to the ground.
To prevent possible personal injury, make sure all cushion hitch components are completely lowered, the pressure from the hydraulic system is released and the engine has been shut off for a minimum of five minutes to be sure that the accumulator oil pressure is zero. The accumulator is filled with dry nitrogen. Do not loosen or remove the valve in the cap on top of the accumulator. A bleed screw at the bottom of the accumulator can be used to release any pressure that remains in the system.
2. Remove the bolts and disconnect tube (2) so that the oil can be drained from the bowl lift cylinder.3. Remove the bolts and tube (2) from the quick drop and check valve and the bowl lift cylinder.4. Disconnect hose (1) from the bottom of the bowl lift cylinder. 5. Fasten nylon strap (3) and a hoist on quick drop and check valve (5) as shown.6. Remove two bolts (4) and move quick drop and check valve (5) away from the bowl lift cylinder. The weight of the valve is 29 kg (65 lb.). 7. Remove bolt (8), pin (7) and pin (6) that connect the bowl lift cylinder to the bowl. 8. Fasten tool (A) and a hoist on bowl lift cylinder (9).9. Remove bolts (10), block (11) and bowl lift cylinder (9) from the yoke. The weight of the bowl lift cylinder is 320 kg (705 lb.). 10. If necessary, remove bearing (12) from block (11).Install Bowl Lift Cylinders
1. Lower the temperature of bearing (1) and use tool group (A) to install it in block (2). 2. Fasten tool (B) and a hoist on bowl lift cylinder (3) as shown.3. Put bowl lift cylinder (3) and blocks (4) in position on the yoke and install the bolts that hold them. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 1125 100 N m (830 74 lb.ft.). 4. Put cylinder rod (5) in alignment with the mounting bracket on the bowl. Install pin (6), pin (7) and the bolt that holds pin (6) in position. 5. Fasten nylon strap (8) and a hoist on quick drop and check valve (9) as shown.6. Put quick drop and check valve (9) in position on the bowl lift cylinder and install bolts (10) that hold it. 7. Inspect the seals in the hoses and tube assemblies for the bowl lift cylinder for wear or damage. Make a replacement if necessary.8. Make sure the seals are in position on tube (11). Connect the tube to the quick drop and check valve and at the bottom of the bowl lift cylinder.9. Connect the hose to the bottom of the bowl lift cylinder.Disassemble Bowl Lift Cylinders
