Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets and the seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

Install bearing (15), if necessary.

Install seal (14), if necessary.

Use the identification marks in order to align gear (11) and cam (12) correctly. Install gear (11) .
Use Tooling (A) in order to install retaining ring (13) onto gear (11) .

Install pin (9). Install seal (10). Apply Tooling (B) to the seal bore.

Install O-ring seal (8) .

Position plate (7). Install spacers (6) .

Position sensor (4). Install bolts (2) .
Connect harness assembly (3). Position cover assembly (5) .

Install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 18 4 N m (13 3 lb ft).End By: Install the transmission hydraulic control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission Hydraulic Control Valve - Assemble".
