Lower the temperature of hub assembly (18) and install hub assembly (18) into carrier (19) .

Install discs (15) and plates (16) .

Install plate (14). Install retainers (13) and bolts (12). Tighten bolts (12) to a torque of 50 7 N m (37 6 lb ft).

Use Tooling (D) in order to install bearing (11) onto hub (10). Lower the temperature of hub (10) and install hub (10) onto turbine (9) .

Position turbine (9). Install bolts (8) to a torque of 80 10 N m (60 8 lb ft).

Install race (28) onto the carrier and turbine assembly (6) .Note: Properly align detents on race (28) to dowels on the carrier and turbine assembly (6) .

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to the carrier and turbine assembly (6). The weight of the carrier and turbine assembly (6) is approximately 140 kg (310 lb). Invert the carrier and turbine assembly (6), as shown.
Attach Tooling (C) to the carrier and turbine assembly (6) in order to retain the hub.

Reposition Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device on the carrier and turbine assembly (6). Position the carrier and turbine assembly (6) and install bolt (7). Tighten bolt (7) to a torque of 240 25 N m (177 18 lb ft).
Remove Tooling (C), Tooling (B), and a suitable lifting device from the carrier and turbine assembly (6) .

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Position spring washer (5A) and plate (5). Install bolts (4). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 120 15 N m (89 11 lb ft).Note: Note the orientation of spring washer (5A) .
