Remove the cover on the control box.
CONTROLS (DC Controlled Reactor Type)
1. Voltage droop rheostat. 2. Terminal strip. 3. Voltage level rheostat. 4. Saturable reactor coil and core assembly. 5. Terminal strip. 6. Blocking rectifier. 7. Full wave rectififer. 8. DC controlled reactor.Remove the top screws and lower the panels as shown. On the compensating current transformer type lower the right panel only.
