When the steering lever is moved with the transmission in NEUTRAL or in gear, an operator sitting in the seat, and the engine is running, the machine will turn. Engage the steering control lock by engaging the parking brake to prevent machine movement.

Note: In Europe, ultralow sulfur diesel fuel will have a maximum of 0.0010 percent (10 ppm) sulfur and is typically referred to as “sulfur-free”.
Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO), Residual fuel, or Blended fuel must NOT be used in Caterpillar diesel engines (except in 3600 Series HFO engines). Blended fuel is residual fuel that has been diluted with a lighter fuel (cutter stock) so that they will flow. Blended fuels are also referred to as heavy fuel oils. Severe component wear and component failures will result if HFO type fuels are used in engines that are configured to use distillate fuel.
Mixing alcohol or gasoline with diesel fuel can produce an explosive mixture in the engine crankcase or fuel tank.Personal injury and damage to the engine may result. Caterpillar recommends against this practice.
There are many different types of fuel additives that are available to use. Caterpillar does not generally recommend the use of fuel additives.Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU6250, "Caterpillar Machine Fluids Recommendations" for the use of fuel additives and fuel conditioners.Product Link (3)

The system contains 2.5 kg (5.51 lb) of refrigerant which has a CO2 equivalent 3.575 metric tonne. The lubricating oil type for this system is PAG (polyalkylene glycol) 4C-2959.Wait to Disconnect (5)
The Wait to Disconnect is located in the ground level service center on the left-hand side fender.Do not turn off the battery disconnect switch until the light has turned off. If the battery disconnect switch is turned off when the light is illuminated, the DEF system will not purge and DEF could freeze and cause damage to the pump and the lines.
