17. Install No. 4 clutch plates and discs (22) and springs (23). 18. Assemble carrier and install on No. 4 clutch. 19. Tighten bolts (24) to 36 2 lb. ft. (5,0 0,3 mkg). 20. Install plate using two 1/2"-13NC forged eyebolts. 21. Install No. 5 ring gear. 22. Install No. 5 clutch plates and discs (27), springs (25), and pins (26). 23. Inspect No. 5 piston seals (28) and install piston in clutch housing. 24. Secure piston with tool (B) and install housing on No. 5 clutch. 25. Install No. 5 clutch housing retaining bolts. Install gears (29) on shaft. 26. Install ring gear (32), plates (33), locks (31), and bolts (30). 27. Assemble and install carrier. 28. Align carrier bearing (34) with locater ball. 29. Install carrier bearing and retaining ring (35). 30. Install adapter (36) and retaining ring (37). 31. Install clutch plates and discs (38) and springs. 32. Install No. 6 clutch housing and piston using tool (C). 33. Install No. 7 clutch ring gear (42), clutch plates and disc (41), springs (40) and pins (39). 34. Install No. 7 clutch housing and piston using tool setup (C). 35. Install clutch housing retaining bolts and tighten to 85 5 lb. ft. (11,8 0,7 mkg). 36. Invert clutch housing assembly and mount on stand. Install No. 3 clutch pins (43), plates and discs (44) and springs (45). 37. Install No. 3 clutch piston, clutch housing and retaining bolts (46). Tighten bolts to 36 2 lb. ft. (5,0 0,3 mkg). 38. Install washers, bearings, gears, shafts, and roll pins in No. 2 clutch carrier housing. 39. Using tool setup (D), install bearing in manifold assembly. 40. Install oil seal rings. 41. Install manifold assembly in No. 1 clutch housing. Retain manifold assembly in clutch housing by installing two 1/2" nuts finger tight. 42. Install seals (47) and piston in No. 1 clutch housing. 43. Install ring gear, discs, plates, pins, and springs. 44. Install plate assembly and retaining bolts. Tighten bolts to 85 5 lb. ft. (11,8 0,7 mkg). 45. Install washers, bearings, gears, shafts, and roll pins, in No. 1 carrier. 46. Install bearing (48) and O-ring seals (49) on cage. 47. Install manifold on carrier and install carrier on No. 2 clutch housing. 48. Install balance piston on No. 2 clutch housing. 49. Align locating ball with bearing and install No. 2 clutch housing on the No. 1 clutch assembly. Install retaining ring (50). 50. Install No. 1 sun gear. 51. Install seals (51). Install No. 2 clutch piston. 52. Install gear (52) and retainer ring (53). 52. Install discs and plates, pins, and springs. 53. Assemble No. 2 carrier. 54. Install the No. 2 carrier assembly in the No. 2 clutch housing. Tighten bolts to 85 5 lb. ft. (11,8 0,7 mkg). 55. Install retaining ring (54) on input shaft. 56. Position input shaft through No. 1 and No. 2 clutches, retainer ring end
