Personal injury can result from hot oil spray and raised attachments.Make sure all attachments have been lowered, oil is cool and the pressure has been released from the hydraulic system before removing any components or lines.Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.
Do not check for leaks with your hands. Pin hole (very small) leaks can result in a high velocity oil stream that will be invisible close to the hose. This oil can penetrate the skin and cause personal injury. Use cardboard or paper to locate pin hole leaks.

Apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to the pipe threads of each 3B-7257 Reducer Bushing (8). Install reducer bushings (8) at each end of 8T-0454 Oil Flow Meter (9) .
Apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to the pipe threads of each 8C-6875 Connector (7). Install connectors (7) into each reducer bushing (8) .
Install 5K-9090 O-Ring Seal (6) onto the face of each connector.
Install 6V-8946 Reducer Assembly (5) onto each connector.
Install 6V-9746 O-Ring Seal (4) onto the face of each reducer assembly.
Install 7X-3166 Swivel Adapter (3) onto each reducer assembly.
Install 3D-2824 O-Ring Seal (2) onto each swivel adapter.
Install 187-3226 Coupling (1) onto the input side of the flow meter assembly.
Install 187-3225 Coupling (10) onto the output side of the flow meter assembly.Output Test for the Gerotor Motor
Install the stump grinder onto the skid steer loader. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7752, "Work Tool Installation".
Connect the case drain return line (6) to the quick disconnect fitting (7) .
Connect flow meter assembly (4) to lower quick disconnect fitting (5) .
Connect hydraulic hose (3) to the flow meter assembly.
Connect hydraulic hose (1) to the upper quick disconnect fitting.
Apply two 13 mm (0.5 inch) strips of reflective tape (8) at equal spacing on the stump grinder wheel (9) .
Mount the tachometer (10) of the 9U-7400 Multitach Tool Group to the guard (11) on the skid.
Enter the host machine.
Fasten the seat belt and lower the armrest.
Start the host machine.
Raise the stump grinder slightly off the ground.
Move the high flow control to the "HF1" position.
Increase engine speed until the flow meter reads 110 L/min (29 US gpm).
Check the output rpm on the multitach. The reading should be approximately 2060 200 rpm.If the output rpm is less than 1860 rpm, there may be excessive leakage within the gerotor motor. Replace the gerotor motor.
