Engine Oil Cooler
1. Drain the coolant from the radiator.2. Drain the oil from oil cooler. 3. Remove two bolts (4) and clamp (2). Remove the elbow (1).4. Remove two bolts from pipe (3). 5. Remove three bolts (5) that hold flange to flywheel housing.6. Remove oil line (6) and clip for turbocharger lubrication valve.7. Remove the bolts (7) that hold plate and support to the block.8. Fasten a hoist to the oil cooler.9. Remove the four bolts that hold elbow to the water pump.10. Remove the engine oil cooler. Weight is 90 lb. (41 kg). 11. Remove the support (8) and connector from oil cooler (9).12. Remove the elbow and tube assembly.Install Engine Oil Cooler
1. Install support (1) and connector on oil cooler.2. Install tube assembly (2) and elbow (3). 3. Fasten a hoist to oil cooler. Put the oil cooler in position on engine. Install the oil line (4) and clip for turbocharger lubrication valve.4. Install the three bolts that hold flange to flywheel housing.5. Install bolts (5) that hold plate and support to block.6. Install two bolts that hold tube assembly (6) to the tee.7. Install elbow and clamp for oil line from oil filter housing to the oil cooler. 8. Install the bolts (7) that hold elbow to water pump.9. Fill the radiator with coolant. Add oil to engine as needed. See the MAINTENANCE GUIDE.
