Stop the machine with the bucket flat on the ground. Remove bolt (1) from the pin that holds the link to the bucket.

Install Tooling (A). Fasten a hoist to Tooling (A) in order to prevent Tooling (A) from falling when the pin is removed. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove the pin that holds the link to the bucket.
Start the machine. Extend or retract the tilt cylinder until the bucket lever is in a vertical position.

Remove the bolt that holds pin (3) in place. Install Tooling (A). Fasten a hoist to Tooling (A) and tilt cylinder (2) so that Tooling (A) and tilt cylinder (2) will not fall when the pin is removed. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove pin (3). Pull tilt cylinder (2) backward. Use a strap to hold tilt cylinder (2) out of the way.

Remove bolt (4) from pin (5) .

Install Tooling (B) on pin (5). Fasten a hoist to Tooling (B) and bucket lever (6) in order to prevent Tooling (B) and bucket lever (6) from falling when pin (5) is removed. Use Tooling (B) to remove pin (5). Remove bucket lever (6) and the link. The weight of bucket lever (6) and the link is approximately 288 kg (640.0 lb).Installation Procedure

Put clean 5P-0960 Multipurpose Grease on the bearings, the seals, and the pins for the bucket lever, the link, and the tilt cylinder. Fasten a strap and a hoist to the bucket lever and link (1). Put the bucket lever and link (1) in position on the lift arms.Note: Do not damage the seals in the tilt cylinders, the bucket lever and the link when the pins are installed.

Install Tooling (A) in pin (2). Install pin (2) in order to hold the bucket to the lift arms. Install the bolt and the spacer in order to hold the pin in place.

Fasten a hoist to tilt cylinder (4) and the lift cylinder. Align tilt cylinder (4) with the bucket lever. Start the machine. Extend the tilt cylinder so the pin in the cylinder and the bucket are in alignment.
Install Tooling (B) in pin (3) and install the pin. Install the bolt and the spacer in order to hold the pin in place.

Install pin (5), the bolt, the washer, and the spacer.
Use a grease gun in order to push 5P-0960 Multipurpose Grease into the pins.
