Note: Check the O-ring seals, the gaskets, and seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. All disassembly and all assembly procedures must be performed on a clean work surface and in a clean hydraulic area. Keep cleaned parts covered and protected at all times.Note: Apply a light film of SAE 10W oil to all components before assembly.

Install two-piece seal pack (14) onto pump housing assembly (11).

Install pressure plate (13) into pump body (4). Note: The grooved portion of pressure plate (8) and (13) faces the gears.

Install pins (12) if the pins were removed.

Install pump body (4) onto pump housing assembly (11). Note: Pins (12) fit into locating holes in pump housing assembly (11).Note: Use the alignment marks that were installed during disassembly in order to align pump body (4) and pump housing assembly (11).

Install gears (10) and (9) into pump body (4).

Install pressure plate (8) into pump body (4). Note: The grooved portion of pressure plate (8) and (14) faces the gears.

Use Tooling (B) in order to install seal (7) into flange (2).

Use Tooling (A) in order to install retaining ring (6) in flange (2).
Rotate flange (2) to the opposite side.

Install two-piece seal pack (5) to the face of flange (2).
