CONTROL AS-GOVERNOR 2680254 - Caterpillar

There is a problem with the 8 VDC power supply of the "Transmission/Chassis ECM" for the sensor. Refer to the complete Electrical System Schematic of the machine. Check all of the connections that are in the power supply circuit and the return circuit. Ensure that all connections are clean, that all connections are secure and that all connections are in good condition. Repair the machine harness or replace the machine harness. STOPTest Step 3. CHECK FOR AN OPEN IN THE SIGNAL CIRCUITThe key start switch and the disconnect switch remain in the OFF position.
Disconnect the machine harness connector from the sensor.
At the machine harness connector for the sensor, place the jumper wire between return contact B (wire X800-OR(Orange)) and signal contact C (wire U768-BU(Blue)).
Disconnect the machine harness connectors J1 and J2 from the "Transmission/Chassis ECM".
At the machine harness connectors for the "Transmission/Chassis ECM" , measure the resistance from return contact J1-45 (wire X800-OR(Orange)) to signal contact
